We leave at 7:30 am, bound for Sacsay Huaman to meet our guide and go up to the community of Quenqo through beautiful lagoons and dreamlike landscapes. If you have backpacks, you can leave them so that the llamas can carry them, after 3 hours and a half we will reach the Qori Qocha lagoon, the families will be waiting to receive us. We will unload the backpacks in our rooms after a rest, we will have a typical meal of the area for lunch, the mothers will teach us how they weave and how they make the natural dye through the plants, then they will teach us a little about their culture through their agriculture and the teachings that their ancestors have left them. At the end of the afternoon we will go fishing for our next dinner.
While they are preparing dinner, we will make a bonfire to listen to the stories and legends of this mountain and its people. We will observe the constellation and stars with a telescope that will help us understand how our ancestors observed and interpreted the Andean worldview.
The next day, after having breakfast around 8 am, we will start the trek to Huchuy Qosqo, a beautiful trek with rivers and views of the sacred valley. (Huchuy Qosqo) is located at 3600 meters above sea level or as well known as small Cusco, it is located at the height of a town called Lamay, where it contains Inka constructions, with platforms, roads, ceremonial centers, buildings of up to three floors and especially roads. inkas that connect with the city of Cusco.
In this place we will have lunch at 1 in the afternoon and after a short rest, we will explore its mysterious construction for 2 hours. Descending at 4:30 to the town of Lamay to take our bus back to the city of Cusco.
