FIRST DAY. –

The Inka Jungle tour begins with the pick-up of the participants between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., to go towards the town of Ollantaytambo (Sacred Valley) where we will make a brief stop of approximately 20 minutes so they can buy water, snacks , sunscreen, or others. We will continue the tour for approximately two hours passing through the highest point of the route, the "open Malaga" at 4,336 m.a.s.l. until we reach our starting point where, after conditioning with the safety implements (helmets, knee pads, vests) we will begin the descent (Down Hill) with the bicycles in the direction of the jungle brow. During this tour we will be able to appreciate picturesque landscapes and natural attractions according to the floors
altitudes that we will cross. We will pass near some ravines, small towns, fruit fields and picturesque streams.

After approximately 2 and a half hours of bicycle descent, accompanied by our private transport (which will accompany us only this first day of the tour), we will arrive at the town of Huamanmarca, approximately at 1:30 p.m., where after a short rest, We will continue towards the town of Santa María where a succulent lunch awaits us in a local restaurant and where we will settle down for the night. After this, a new adventure begins for the participants who opt for River Rafting (OPTIONAL). We will be transported to the base of operations (Vilcanota River) where after a technical talk and the use of safety equipment (helmets and life jackets) we will enter the river on a raft accompanied by the guide and by a catamaran that will supervise the adventure. This section has a degree of difficulty between II – III+ (medium risk) with exciting rapids and some turbulence, but everything is controlled and supervised by experienced guides (certified in extreme sports) who are knowledgeable about the geography, climate and local environment.

During the rainy season (January-March) due to the flooding of the river, changes in the degree of difficulty (level IV or more) and for passenger safety, we do not recommend booking this activity (rafting).

At the end of the rafting, at the end of the afternoon, the whole group will meet at our lodge where we will have a warm dinner and then spend the first night surrounded by colorful vegetation.

At noon we will take a break in the small village of Kellomayo, where we will have a
refreshing lunch to then continue the route crossing waterfalls, streams, fruit plantations and tubers typical of the area. We will also be able to witness the diverse flora and fauna of the place, different species of exotic birds, as well as a wide range of orchids and fruit trees of bananas, oranges, avocados, coffee, among others. Remember that we will be at the edge of the Amazon jungle, and this area has one of the richest areas with biological diversity on the planet.

In the morning, those who have reserved will be able to do the zip line (Optional) temporarily separating from the group and then reunite at the end of the activity and continue the tour.

After having enjoyed the landscape and a short rest, we will descend to a checkpoint called "Hydroelectric", where a warm lunch awaits us and then continue the tour with a walk of approximately 3 hours, probably the part of the tour with the best views and landscapes. , enjoying splendid waterfalls from the glaciers, coca plantations and fruits of the local people, continuing through the train route until we reach Aguas Calientes or also called 'Machupicchu Pueblo' and settle in our previously reserved hostel. At night we will meet at a tourist restaurant where we will have the option to taste an exquisite dinner and plan the next day's visit to Machupicchu with the guide.
