Discovering the Amazon and its people

Departure to Santa María from Cusco, at 7 in the morning. 4 -hour travel time, we arrive there at approximately 12, we settled in our rooms since in this town we will spend the first night, then we will visit cocoa crops and coca leaf. We will walk a little to explore and then have lunch, then we will get ready to make rafting at 2:30 for an approximate time 2 hours. We will return at approximately 5 pm to our shelter around 7pm we will have dinner and rest. The next day we will wake up at 6 in the morning for breakfast and continue the Inka alternative path, maximum walking time 5 hours. We continue with the walk that runs through a brief section of the original Inca road. This part of the tour is unmissable since we can appreciate an old Inca quite preserved and still used by local settlers.

And then continue the route crossing waterfalls, ríachuelos, fruit plantations and typical tubercles of the area. We can also witness the diverse flora and fauna of the place, different species of exotic birds, in addition to a wide range of orchids and fruit trees of bananas, oranges, avocados, coffee, among others. Remember that we will be in the Amazon jungle eyebrow, and this area has one of the richest areas with biological diversity of the planet. We will arrive at 13:00 pm, after eating we can bathe in the hot springs of Cocalmayo where we can enjoy a few hours in a medicinal thermos resort. After this activity we can do Zipine or better known as Tirolina. Around 4 in the afternoon we will begin our walk to hydroelectric to arrive at 6 pm and accommodate in our hostel.

Third day:

We will get up at 5 am for breakfast and then start walking to the door of Machupicchu, approximate time of 1 and a half walk. We will be at the door of the sanctuary at approximately 7:00 to tour Machupicchu for two hours with guide. Then there is an additional time of an hour to explore this beautiful place. At 11:30 am we will have to go down to the town of Aguas Calientes approximate time of 1 hour to descend reaching 1 pm and there is time for lunch, at 2:30 pm we will begin our walk to hydroelectric plant arriving at approximately 4:30 pm to take our return bus to Cusco. And reach our city at 11 pm
